I am afraid I do not have the entire list for this sale, only the prices realised which appeared in the first edition of the "Cartophilic Notes and News", Volume 1 No.1, dated January/February 1965. However it still makes fascinating reading.

Although it means more work for me, it makes the job much more worthwhile from my point of view. 41 bidders secured lots, again a record number of parcels to be sent off.
Now one or two moans. There are a few members who seem to think that they should not pay postage and packing, and only send me the net amount of their lots. Sometimes the postage and packing is only 6d. or so, and I feel it is rather mean to deliberately not pay such a small amount. Again there are at least a half dozen members who do not pay up on time, that is, within seven days of receipt of lots. This holds up payment to vendors, and makes more work for me sending out reminders, and costs the Club more in postage. Please remember, once you have received your cards, send the poor Postal Auction Secretary the cash by return of post.
