Convention 1992

Saturday 2nd May - PUDSEY, LEEDS
CSGB Pudsey

Our hosts this year were the Yorkshire Branch, who had found us an excellent venue at the Pudsey Civic Centre.

This year`s commemorative card was taken from an original issued by Baines.

Only 250 of our version were printed, and because they show a cricketer they have become quite sought after.

Now Baines are most known for shields, but this is a cricket ball, and the original would have been ball shaped, without the white square which we added to ours. This design is known with other teams, one of the most sought after being "Well Hit Heaton", which shows a lady cricketer. Other popular slogans for the top banner are "Well Bowled" and "Well Centred".

Some of these cards do not have the central picture and are just the ball, with the seams.
