Michele "Cartophilic Notes and News" volume 11 , No.119 , dated for May/June 1983, gives us a little more information, in the section devoted to the Annual General Meeting of that year. It tells us that :
- On the research side, we have now completed work on Reference Book No.30 - The Australian and New Zealand Index - which runs to 324 pages with over 600 illustrations. This is the first Reference Book to be published in association with the Australian Cartophilic Society and the Cartophilic Society of New Zealand, and is expected to be ready for circulation about mid-1983. We believe that the information contained in this volume will be of real help to collectors of cards issued in Australasia and especially to those who like cricket cards - a particularly popular subject "down under".
