Trucards Sport
Trucards [trade/commercial : UK] "Sports Cards" (1972)

Hockey, or more correctly, field hockey, can be played on a ground, a field or a pitch. The dimensions are 100 yards long x 55 yards wide.

Though these are always called Trucards sets, the cards with the real photographs on them actually came from George Austin`s Colour Library International Ltd of New Malden in Surrey. These sets were "Animals", Flowers", our set "Sport". and "Veteran and Vintage Cars" - and they were all issued in 1970.

However some of the sets are drawn, and they do not credit this source. Those sets are "Battle of Britain", "History of Aircraft", "World War I" and World War II". Again all of these were issued in 1970.

I have no idea how they were issued though, or what with. Anyone know?
