Weekend again, and there is getting a chill to the air, but don`t lie abed, get out and go do something more interesting - a fair, a market, a walk round the shops to look at the Christmas decorations, a slow walk round your local town, where many discoveries can be made when you do not have to b

So here we go, almost into November, and still going strong. I like the way that the shops are full of Hallowe`en and some of them are starting to get into Christmas. I never buy much, but much enjoy the looking and the dreaming.

Saturday, and a new newsletter, one of the relatively few left before the closing of the year - just eleven, by my reckoning.

Well that seems to have been a shorter week than usual. Maybe it is the fact that the nights are slowly closing in. They certainly are, at least in these parts. And it is dark, too, when morning supposedly comes. 

Saturday, once more, and another newsletter springs into place as if by magic.

Saturday rapidly approaches and so it must be time for me to race ahead and complete your new newsletter.

This intro is always done last, because it takes the least time, and if I do run late then I can do this easier than a final card (or three).

Not just the last Saturday of August, but the last day of August. September is almost here, with its last flourish of fiery colours before winter comes and freezes them away.

Welcome, almost to September. I will have to suffer artificial light soon, and even wetter feet when I walk down the garden in the early mornings - perhaps, worst of all, to have to find my wellingtons, and retreat into tights.
