So here we go, almost into November, and still going strong. I like the way that the shops are full of Hallowe`en and some of them are starting to get into Christmas. I never buy much, but much enjoy the looking and the dreaming.

Welcome, almost to September. I will have to suffer artificial light soon, and even wetter feet when I walk down the garden in the early mornings - perhaps, worst of all, to have to find my wellingtons, and retreat into tights.
