Unpublished newsletters

This intro is always done last, because it takes the least time, and if I do run late then I can do this easier than a final card (or three).

Not just the last Saturday of August, but the last day of August. September is almost here, with its last flourish of fiery colours before winter comes and freezes them away.

Welcome, almost to September. I will have to suffer artificial light soon, and even wetter feet when I walk down the garden in the early mornings - perhaps, worst of all, to have to find my wellingtons, and retreat into tights.

Saturday again, and not just that, for we are heading rapidly into autumn, wet grass, slippery leaves and loads of slugs and snails. No mists yet, but they will soon be here. 

a whole week gone, since last I wrote a start. Not sure where. 

Welcome to August, and to a new newsletter, and at least, today, it has been cooler. I am not that fond of such hot weather, though, and when rain comes it is very welcome. 

After almost an entire week of chaos, I have at last finished all the pictures, and set them into place. Some of the text will have to be added through the weekend though. The weekend will also be chaotic, especially tomorrow, but for a whole other reason....

So as the weekend starts, by Friday midnight sliding into Saturday morning, a second at a time, as we also slide a new newsletter over the top of the last.

Saturday, again, they come round so fast. Or is that only for me ?

As we change of the week, we also change of the government, and, rather excitingly, this year is a hundred years since the first ever Labour win.
