Michele This is included only because I found a little snippet about it in Volume 1, No.1 of the "Cartophilic Notes and News", which I would have to otherwise return to. That reads as follows :
- As you probably read in the November/December "Cartophilic World" work is progresing on the next reference book, "World Index, Part II" and we are all looking forward to seeing it in print. This volume will follow on from "The World Index", and cover all the additions and corrections notied during the period 1957 to 1964. We are indeed very lucky to have the services of a man like Mr. E. C. Wharton-Tigar, whose valuable contributions to our card knowedge are so manifest.
I think that makes this work the first book to be published after the merging of the Cameric Cigarette card Club and The Cartophilic Society.
