So this week we thought we would have some fun by also only revealing the diary dates of the newsletter one day at a time, in the manner of an advent calendar. Therefore tonight, at midnight we will get the card for the 21st of December, and at midnight tomorrow we will add a new one.

Its time for another newsletter - and the reflection that there is but one before Christmas, and then one more before another year, the time when we plan to change of many things and seldom do.

And so let us begin another newsletter, one of the few left before Christmas (actually there are only two after this one). So far, and this week is no exception, the festive feels have been lacking - and I feel I must rectify that in next week`s edition.

Welcome to another weekend, and only thirty one days to Christmas. I had a hectic week again this week and this is rather a rush job but I did finish, in as much as get all the days in place and something on them all, though many thanks are due to everyone who helped with cards and information.

Hooray ! Another newsletter has arrived, but let me tell you, dear readers, this has been quite a monumental task to complete, there have been many other calls on my time and I have not been at my best for a combination of reasons.

Well here we are in November, Hallowe`en is over, and I have caught a cold, the first for many years. Also my new canine companion is far less laid back about fireworks than any of the others have been.

So here we go, almost into November, and still going strong. I like the way that the shops are full of Hallowe`en and some of them are starting to get into Christmas. I never buy much, but much enjoy the looking and the dreaming.
