Saturday 14th April - LONDON
1984 saw us back in London, but not at Caxton Hall. Instead we were at the Eccleston Hotel.
Like our London Branch, we had been forced to move on; although they managed to keep holding their meetings right until March of that year, but the building closed very shortly after, an event which was not entirely unexpected, as the registry office, used by so many stars and celebrities, had been closed since 1978, and the building was slowly being abandoned. So the Convention was set up at the new home of London Branch, the Eccleston Hotel near Victoria Station.
