Greetings to all our readers. It seems amazing to me that we are now a Kingdom, for I have only ever known a Queen. And it looks like we will be a Kingdom for some time, possibly after I have gone. The last time this happened was in 1902, when Queen Victoria died.

Getting into the swing of this now, aided immensely by the fact that I start working on scanning the cards on a Monday morning not a Friday. That just leaves me to chat about them, which I much enjoy.

Another week gone by already and another month, for here we are in September.

That week really went fast .... I hope you had sun, if you wanted that, or rain if you wanted that. Here it was sun and rain, but also a power cut, one afternoon, as always, quite unexpectedly, and just as the kettle was about to boil.  But we got through it, didn`t we......

Greetings to you all, and thanks for tuning in. This has been a rather chaotic week as I had no internet until Friday night, but if this is a shorter newsletter than usual fear not, it will be completed over the weekend !

Well "here we are again",  and hopefully "happy as can be" - which, most of us will probably not now remember, comes from a song written in 1931.

welcome to another week, and can you believe a whole year has gone by since we re-jigged this site. That ought to spur me on to getting on with that index, and to preventing the same old cards coming round on the conveyor belt....

We are getting into our groove now, going with the flow and embracing the possibilities, this newsletter went together really well and it even also has all the codes of the pictured cards. 

Progress is definitely being made and this week I managed a new Card of the Day every day, at more or less the right time too.
