This diary will move about bringing the various clubs to the fore as one meeting ends. There is also a short form with the next couple of dates which appears on our home page as one of the revolving banners. And if you want to find out more about any of the clubs, just click its name, in blue, below - but hold tight, for that that will whirl you to its homepage in lightning speed, where we will bring you local news and also look back at clubs which have existed in that county in times gone by. We have two types of events, but both take place at Uckington Village Hall, The Green, Tewkesbury Road, Uckington, Cheltenham GL51 9SR.
Our regular meetings take place on the second Thursday of the month, starting at 7 pm - these dates being :

We meet at Normandy Village Hall, Manor Fruit Farm, Glaziers Lane, Normandy, GU3 2DD. Admission is always free.
Our Quarterly Fairs open at 10 am, and include a 300+ lot auction which starts at 2.30 pm. These dates are :

Our first meeting of 2025 will see Peter Beer, Mike Heard, Brian Pentalow, Richard Buck, and Colin Weston who will be selling his cards at 10p each.
Our annual subscription is £10, and non-members are very welcome, they just pay £3 to come in.

Northampton
We meet at Weston Favell Parish Hall, on Booth Lane South, Northampton, NN3 3EP - which has a large car park. We aim to have one visiting dealer at each meeting, and heartily encourage swapping between our members.
Our meetings take place from 6 - 9 pm on the first Monday in the month, unless that date is a Bank Holiday - and this affects us once this year, for our May meeting.

A quick word about our cards for this year - most of which come from one of my favourite sets, J. A. Pattrieouex`s "The English and Welsh Counties", issued in 1928.
This set has a card for every county that, at that time, made up England and Wales. The main body of the card shows a local landmark, and, within the circle, is the local industry - so many of which are now very different. Within the box at the very bottom are two names, the top, in capital letters, being the County name, and the lower one being the County Town.
There is one exception to this though, and that is London. For some reason there was no card of London in the set, and so we have chosen a very unusual one, from Gallaher`s "Great War Series", ostensibly a card to show searchlights, but also illuminating one of London`s most familiar landmarks, Nelson`s Column in Trafalgar Square.
