Unpublished newsletters

Saturday, again, and definitely heading to Autumn, with dew-damp ground in the morning as well.

A difficult week, but we have a newsletter, which, in calmer times, will be expanded. And it turned into rather a celebration of aviation as well, must be something in the air! 

Welcome, friends, to the beginnings of another weekend, full of promise.... 

After last week I did start this edition a little earlier, and by Thursday I had have the cards done, and, for the most part, written. Then it all fell about me.

An odd week, and I have had many interruptions. But I will press forward, and if I do not finish on my own, we will finish together, over the weekend.

So here we are in August, by one day. It has rained a lot today, and the plums are falling off the tree, the upper ones anyway, the lower ones have long since been leapt at and dislodged by canine teeth, and then used as sticky footballs to charge around the garden with, in frantic zoomies. 

Welcome to another weekend, and none of us knows what wonderful things it may bring. Sometimes starting to write this newsletter is a bit like that, for I have no idea of which path I will be led along, and what I will discover on the way.

Welcome to another Saturday, newly hatched. It is dark, and quite cool, and nipper slumbers beside me. 

Here we are, on the last leg of our year, for the middle of 2025 fell on the second of this month. But we do have the slow rustling into Autumn, and it will not be dark, at 3 p.m,. for considerably many days yet.

Guess what! It`s Saturday - and that means it`s newsletter time all over again. And since last week I have discovered a much better way of not only doing lists but keeping them in columns. That will slowly roll out back into the earlier newsletters as well.
